Directed by Wes Anderson (The Royal Tenenbaums, Rushmore, The Life Aquatic), stop-motion animated by Henry Selick (The Nightmare Before Christmas, Coraline) and based on a book by beloved children's author Roald Dahl. Could they cram more potential into this movie?
Oh yeah... and they cast Bill Murray as Mister Badger! Yes!
Yay! Fresh off the screenprint screensfrom my ilovedust colleagues in Southsea. I shot these on my desk this morning. Really must get round to taking some better pics. From Aardvark to Zeren.
A few sample letters from the "animalphabet" I've been working on. Each letterform is shaped by an animal beginning with that letter. The Golden monkey is one of my favourites for sure, also Zeren, Otter and Seahorse.
The full set is currently being made into nice screenprints by some of my colleagues at ilovedust.
Combining the talents of two of my favourites - David OReilly and Jon Klassen. Very lovely indeed. I'm crazy about the colours and glitchy sort of "bug in the computer game" style aesthetic.
