the secret art of graffiti removal - flickr group

I like these... found on flickr group 'the secret art of graffiti removal'.

miniature music

Very cute miniature music equipment on flickr. These have been hand-made out of paper. Found via TakTak blog

it's nice that

So, no posts in a while, but I've been busy, started a new work placement and spent a lot of time on the train travelling to and from. Here's what I've been looking at when I've had a spare few minutes:

Nice design blog 'It's nice that' - where I also discovered these bits and pieces -
Some nice graphic hi-fi equipment by Yes Studio.

And an interesting treatment of some not so interesting chairs by House of Burvo

paper construction by Jen Stark

Amazing paper craft by Jen Stark.
These are my favourites.

graffitti

I just found these via Camilla Engman's blog. There are more pictures over at Truthtag. I really like these. They interact with their environments in such a way that they sometimes have a sense of being living organisms. I'd love to find these creeping around the corner of a tatty old towerblock or on the back of a road sign.

architecture in helsinki

This has been around for ages, but I still love it - pretty strange little video for Architecture in Helsinki with some sweet characters.

How to be a big fish....
